BHCC is seeking instructors to teach remote sections of PLG-102 Legal Research & Writing during Spring 2025 (1/27-5/16/2025).
Course Description: This course covers an introduction to legal writing and proper use of legal terminology in developing and drafting a format for the legal memorandum, preparing briefs, and, in particular, formulating research skills. Prerequisite: Introduction to Law (PLG-101).

Job Requirements:
- Juris Doctorate.
- Good standing in Bar in any U.S. jurisdiction.
- Experience supervising paralegals.
- Commitment to advancing equity and access in the classroom.
- Proven ability to work with a diverse faculty, staff and student population.
Preferred Qualifications:
- College teaching experience, especially at community college level.
- Our students come from a variety of cultural, linguistic, and socioeconomic backgrounds, and we are dedicated to providing them with the support they need to succeed. While not required, the ability to read, speak, and write in Spanish or another language is preferred.
